Who we are
Twenty-seven years of jobs that had to fit first time
Sharda Engineering started in 1998 with one lathe and two welders, making spares for the rolling mills around Bhilai. Today 86 people work across two bays, and most of what we build goes to plants that cannot afford a second shutdown.
That is why every job has one engineer who owns it from the drawing to the dispatch note, and why a dimensional report goes out with every consignment.

What we make
Six things we do every week, under one roof and one quality system.

Structural fabrication
Conveyor galleries, pipe racks, platforms and building structures up to 40 tonnes a piece.

Precision machining
VTL up to 2.5 m swing, horizontal boring, VMC and turning. Tolerances held to 20 microns.

Plate work
Hoppers, chutes, ducts, tanks and pressure parts. Rolling up to 40 mm plate.

Reconditioning
Worn rolls, shafts and gearbox housings built up, machined and returned within the shutdown window.

Blasting and painting
Shot blasting to Sa 2.5 and paint systems to your specification, with DFT reports.

Our own riggers and cranes. One contract from the shop floor to the last bolt on site.

Questions buyers ask us first
A drawing (PDF or DWG), the material grade, the quantity and the date you need it by. With those four we quote within 48 hours.
Either. Most customers ask us to supply plate and sections with mill test certificates. Free-issue material is accepted and stored separately.
Yes, at any stage. We share the quality plan with hold points before work starts, and third-party agencies are welcome.
40 tonnes and 18 metres as a single piece, limited by our cranes and the road to the highway. Larger structures leave in bolted sections.
Regularly. We dispatch across Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Maharashtra and Jharkhand, and our erection team travels with the job.

What to send us for a fast fabrication quote
Four things decide how fast a quote comes back: the drawing, the grade, the quantity and the date you need it by.

Mild steel or stainless: choosing the grade for process equipment
Stainless costs more at the start and less over the life of the equipment, but only where corrosion is the real problem.
